Questions

What is an 8-count sheet?
A table of your music in 8-counts. Each row is one 8-count with the time it starts, so you can plan moves on paper and skip straight to that spot in rehearsal. Cheer coaches send one to their music producer, and choreographers use them to teach.
How does Choreosheet find the counts?
It listens for the beat and for beat 1 of each bar, then groups two bars into an 8-count. It also writes down the lyrics and puts each word under the count it lands on. You can play the song and watch the counts light up to check them.
What if count 1 is in the wrong place?
Tap “Set count 1 here” while the song plays, or move every set by 4 counts with one button. If the tempo is doubled or halved, switch it back with one tap. The sheet updates straight away.
Does it work for songs that are not in 4/4?
Yes. Waltz time (3/4) is counted in sets of 6. If the detector gets the time signature wrong, you can change it.
Can I use my competition mix or a cut of the song?
Yes. Upload the exact file you dance to. The counts follow your edit, including cuts and tempo changes.
Can I paste a YouTube link?
No. Upload a file you have the right to use, such as a purchased song or your mix from your music producer.
